Meet our terrific hospital team. We are a tight-knit group of highly trained professionals dedicated to taking special care of each and every pet that walks through our door. We would like to help in any way we can and we understand that sometimes visits to the veterinary hospital can be difficult and stressful. We are here to help. Our great group of compassionate teams members have many years of combined experience in patient and customer care. We want to be to whom you turn to for the best in pet care information and advise.

Practice Manager/Veterinary Technologist

Shannon C.

Shannon has been with Winrose since 1994. First as a volunteer, then eventual after graduating in 2006 as an Animal Health technologist. In 2017 she took on the role as Practice Manager. She enjoys seeing all animals that come through the door at Winrose and has a special interests in the many misunderstood dog breeds such as Staffordshire terriers, pit bulls, Dobermans and rottweilers!!!  She notes " I want people to see the good that is in every breed of dog out there!!!" 

 "Here at Winrose I have been given the opportunity to use all my skills as an AHT. From helping with appointments, dental cleaning, taking x-rays to even becoming an expert bird holder!!! It's a great place to work!!

In her spare time Shannon runs a small pet sitting business and enjoys traveling, water polo and spending time with her old English sheepdog "Norman".  " Everyday I'm at the clinic I see many new and exciting things so come visit us at Winrose and ask me for a tour.   I will show what a wonderful place this is and why I enjoy working here so much!!!"

Veterinary Technologists

Tara O.

Tara has been with Winrose since 2016. She grew up on a farm and has been surrounded by all sorts of animals. Tara graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2004 and has been working with small animals and exotics ever since.  She rescued a small chihuahua mix with a big attitude. Tara loves being part of the Winrose team and meeting our wonderful clients and their pets.  In her spare time Tara enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Danielle L.

Danielle has been at Winrose since February 2017. She graduated in 2016 with a Veterinary Office Assistant Diploma from Roberston College. Danielle has two dogs, Bowser and Baylee, whom she loves very much. Bowser is a German Shepherd and Baylee is a mix between a Husky, Border Collie and Akita. You can follow them on Instagram @bayleeandthebowser and enjoy daily photos of them.  Danielle has a special interest in large breed dogs such as German Shepherds, Mastiffs and Great Danes.  She also plans on taking them Animal Health Technologist course in 2019 at Red River College.

Candace has been with Winrose Animal Hospital since 2006.  She enjoys the different species that we see here.  I have a diva cat named Annie that I love to bits! Candace loves spending time with her husband and new baby boy Gordie.  In her spare time, She enjoys the outdoors, playing tennis, fishing, hiking, roller blading and heading out to the lake to kick back and relax!

Joining the Winrose team in February 2010, I have really enjoyed meeting all the clients and their pets! My pet family consists of 2 dogs, Molly, a golden retriever & Buddy, a terrier cross, as well as my tabby cat Lucy. I have taken quite an interest in boxing. I enjoy it so much that I volunteer and teach boxing in my spare time.

Rhonda H.

Rhonda joined the Winrose team in 2010. She has worked in the veterinary field since she was 16 years old and has never left!  At home along with her husband she has three boys and many pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, goats and a 21 year old conure.  Rhonda loves meeting new clients and their pets. She has a special place in her heart for the many stray animals that find their way to Rhonda and then to Winrose!

Jessica S. has been at Winrose Animal Hospital since August 2016. She has two dogs Gary and Oakley. Jess enjoys spending time with her two boys and is the owner/operator of her own Jewellery Business Copper and Pine.  Jess has a special interest in the Large breed dogs!
