Dr. Eichkorn has been with us at Winrose since 1999.

She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1993 and after 5 years in mixed practice decided to accept a job at Winrose which would allow her to focus exclusively on small animal medicine.

She has a special interests in dermatology, nutrition, and canine behavior but is more than willing to see any patient in need of care.

She notes " I never would have imagined that my veterinary career would have led me to become a 'rabbit dentist' or a 'reptile parasitologist' but such are the challenges of small and exotic animal practice.

Even after 25 years as a veterinarian, I never cease to be amazed by the new and exciting things we see every day. I can't imagine any other career path that could be more interesting and rewarding..."

In her spare time, Dr. Eichkorn enjoys traveling, watercolour painting, and spending time with her 2 children and 4 dogs “Groovy”, “Dude” “Indigo” and “Moose”.
