Dr. Ingrid is a born and raised Winnipeger who was fortunate to have the opportunity to study across the border.

In 2008 she graduated from Yale University and in 2013 she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.

She joined Winrose in 2014 and found she loved the team atmosphere, the variety of patients and the wonderful clients.

She has always had a particular love for cats and enjoys feline medicine. In addition she loves treating exotic species and has a special interest in avian medicine.

She is a proud member of the association of avian veterinarians and is certified in fear free handling for avian patients.

She strongly believes exotic animals deserve the same high standard of care in medicine that dogs
and cats do.

Ingrid also enjoys public education and is active in media presentations on pet health and well-being.

When not at the clinic Ingrid is usually busy chasing after her three active young kids. She also shares her home with her husband and the family tabby cat Bender.
